Notice From Neighborhood Watch

Waterleaf Residents,

We were recently made aware of the recent activity at the park pavilion this weekend. Please remember the sole responsibility of ensuring that our neighborhood is safe does not fall on those 4 or 5 members of the Neighborhood Watch committee. The responsibility for notifying and watching for suspicious activity is the responsibility of every person who lives within our community.

Posting suspicious activity on the Waterleaf FB page is welcome. However, this should be done after the person in question who has seen the suspicious activity has alerted Kyle Police Department by either calling 911 or the non-emergency number (512)268-3232. If you are unsure if the activity in question is an emergency please call 911 and let them know you are unsure if it is an emergency but then describe the activity in question. Once you have alerted Kyle Police Department they will dispatch an officer to the area as soon as possible. If you need to speak with the officer please give the dispatcher your name and address/phone number so they may follow-up with you after they conduct their investigation.

The Neighborhood Watch welcomes any questions or suggestions you may have for helping to keep our community safe. If you cannot attend Neighborhood Watch meetings please feel free to contact us via our email address and one of our committee members will respond as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
The Neighborhood Watch Committee
