The HCFB accepts a wide variety of healthy, nonperishable food items including boxed, bagged, and canned food. All donated food items must be unopened and have an intact label. Canned or boxed foods that are beyond the expiration date may be accepted. Baby food, formula, and adult nutrition drinks like Ensure cannot be accepted once they are out of date. We also accept fresh produce from local farms or gardens.

We will be accepting donations for the Hays County Food Bank from November 1st-22nd at the KB Sales Office in Waterleaf Falls. Canned goods will be accepted at this location. In addition, you may contact the social committee members to pick up your canned goods left on your porch if you are unable to bring them to the office.
