Important Pool Updates

Neighbors,

The pool committee met on May 3rd. Due to many resident requests, we decided to ask the board to open up full time starting immediately. After making sure the cost will not change, the board has voted to open the pool full time.  Pool hours are now 5a to 9p Tuesday thru Sunday. It will remain closed on Mondays for cleaning and maintenance. 

Please note, although the pool is now open full time, lifeguards will only be on duty for the weekends, which means it is up to the residents to make sure ALL rules are being observed and children are staying safe. 

At our meeting, we also looked at possible new pool furniture to request, talked about the security system and asked for help with the pavilion reservations. We also decided to recommend a zero tolerance for rule violations. Please be sure to review the Pool Rules so you do not lose your pool privileges for this season.  

The committee will meet again next month everyone is invited to come and have a say. Please check your newsletter and our website for the date and time.

 

Important Notes:

– If you do not have a new key card issued after October 2013 and/or you are not current on your assessments, your card will not work and you will not be able to get into the pool unless you are someone else’s guest.

– If you need to request a pool key for this season, please go to poolkey.com to order a new card.

– If you have already requested a pool key and not received it after 2 weeks, please contact our property manager Jim Smitherman at jim.smitherman@goodwintx.com – Due to an increase in pool key requests, it is taking longer for everyone to receive their keys. We appreciate your patience.

– If you have any issues with your new key card (issued after October 2013), please contact Jim at the e-mail address above.
