Only One Dozen Votes Needed for Bylaw Update
Did you submit a ballot in conjunction with the January 16th Special Meeting to vote on four proposed changes to our HOA bylaws? If not, you still can! We only need about one dozen votes to make quorum before the Annual Meeting on March 12.
During the Special Meeting, sections 1.1, 5.8, 5.11, and 6.1 of the bylaws were put up for a vote by Waterleaf Falls HOA members. The recommended changes will ensure that our Board continues to be member controlled, and will prevent any non-member from nominating or even running for a board position. Since two board seats are up for election during the Annual Meeting, it’s important that we reach a quorum of 10% (100 members) in order to count the ballots and apply any changes prior to that election.
If you have not voted on the proposed bylaw changes, please fill out the ballot posted below and mail it to Goodwin Management, Inc., Attn: Jim Smitherman, 11149 Research Blvd. Suite 100, Austin, TX, 78759 with a postmark no later than March 7, 2016. You may also give your ballot to any of our board members, or bring it with you to the Annual Meeting.
