Neighbors, Just a reminder that this month’s board meeting is TONIGHT right here in Waterleaf at the Park Pavilion.  This is your opportunity to hear news about the neighborhood and address any concerns you may have with the board directly.  All neighbors are encouraged to attend.  Please bring your own seating as the pavilion only has limited seating available.

Neighbors, don’t forget! This Wednesday is the Neighborhood Watch Meeting.  This month’s guest will be Animal Control.

We will also be creating a banner for the 4th of July Parade (see below for more information), so if you want your handprint added to the banner, please be sure to attend!!

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH has re-formed this past month. Committee Chair members are Robert Crandall, Holly Williamson, Geri- Ann Swazey, Israel Moreno and Michele Hinojosa. Monthly meetings will meet at the Pool Pavilion Park unless otherwise noted in the Newsletter. We are working on many plans, some of which include monthly speakers and guests, neighborhood events; both whole neighborhood gatherings and individual streets or blocks. Everyone is welcome to join us! If you have any ideas, questions or comments please email us at We are still in need of block captains! If interested please let us know! Ideally there should be one block captain to every 10 – 15 houses.


Upcoming Events for Neighborhood Watch:

Neighborhood Watch 2nd Annual 4th of July Parade!

Join us Saturday, June 29, for our holiday parade! We will meet at the City Park on Abundance at 9:30. Come in your RED, WHITE and BLUE! Decorate your bikes, pets, cars, yourself or whatever you’d like! You may enter a group you are involved with, boy/girl scouts, school/sports groups, etc. The parade will kick off at 10:00 am. We will travel from the City Park; Abundance to Holly Grove, to New Bridge and end at the Pool Park. Prizes will be given for the best decorated entries!

Neighborhood Watch Basketball Tournament

The Neighborhood Watch Committee will also be hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on June 29th starting at 11:00 AM at the Waterleaf Falls basketball court. Email Neighborhood Watch for registration information. Prizes to be awarded!
